Meet Zoe

At 21, after traveling Australia and New Zealand and spending the better part of a year working in Perth, I needed a change of scenery and moved to Lismore, NSW. Not long after arriving I became unwell with yet another bronchial infection but fortunately, this time, things would be different. My sister gave me my very first herbal tincture (followed by none other than Coca Cola to abate the flavour of the Andrographis) and within a day I was well again and within the week I was enrolled in a bachelor of Naturopathy at Southern Cross University, graduating in 2016.

I remember thinking of this origin story, sitting in one of my first herbal lectures, while everyone around me spoke of romantic afternoons surrounded by their grandmas medicinal herb garden. Obviously, I kept my lips sealed, but this is my why. Herbal medicine pulled me off the antibiotic roundabout and put me on a path to deeper connection with myself and the innate connectedness of my body and the world around me.

Being a solo mum of a beautiful boy, I have a strong interest in, and reverence for, women’s health both pre- and postpartum. Having had the experience of falling through the cracks with my own perinatal journey I bring a passion for advocacy and education to my clinical practice. In addition to perinatal support, I enjoy the investigative work that is just part and parcel of being a naturopath, bringing to light disease risks, microbial imbalance, environmental exposure and then all of the ways that these factors can be influenced by gentle, sustainable approaches.
